Shahid شَاهِد

The Arabic word Shahid translates to “witness” — describing someone who observes, but also someone who hears and encounters experiences in their unconscious. A two-person exhibition with Diaa Lagan presenting an intertwined exploration of lived and inherited memories through varied artistic mediums, blending cultural references, mythical narratives, vernacular traditions, imaginary landscapes, and personal recollections.
